Warehouse Wally

Warehouse Wally was a FPS game made in Unreal Engine 5. The basics included moving, shooting lasers, and box physics. The objective was to search a warehouse scanning boxes with your scanning gun until your found all 10 boxes with gold bars inside. The design of Warehouse Wally could be used for a puzzle game, if the warehouse was larger and utilized the game design pieces already there, Wally could solve puzzles with his scanner as opposed to this “prop hunt” playstyle the game has currently.

Above we can see Wally’s scanner in action. The projectile was modified to act a bit more like a laser than a simple ball, and included sound effects to get that point across. The game also features a crosshair, created by myself to make aiming easier on the player.
Here we can see the gold Wally is after. Gold collected directly contributes to Wally’s progress meter. Getting the progress meter to 100% full is the main objective of the game in its current stage.
As Wally progresses through the game, finding more gold, the progress meter will increase. The warehouse will also become considerably more cluttered as Wally makes a mess of all the boxes searching for gold!
